Williams new #11 Grade 90 All-Thread Rebar allows for higher levels of design stress or designs with less anchors for critical applications such as wind energy foundations and tieback anchors, than other types of conventional rebar. It is manufactured from a carbon steel with excellent elongation and reduction of area properties. At the same time it is more economical than high strength prestressing bars or special production alloy steel bars. The rugged right hand, cold rolled, thread/deformation pattern assures a concentric stress in the thread form of the components while providing the highest possible grout bond area for the rebar.
Williams 75 mm (3” nominal) 150 KSI Tensile Strength All-Thread-Bar is a larger diameter, higher capacity bar designed to meet today’s demands for increased tensile, compression, and shear loads. Exceeding the accepted requirements of current physical specifications for prestressing bars, the tensile, yield, and elongation provide assurance in a larger cross sectional area of a continuously threaded bar. This fastener system features full tensile strength round or hex shaped nuts and coupling components. All-Thread-Bar lengths are available up to 40’-0”. The bar meets ASTM A434 grade BD.
